Contrary to the highly held expectations, the<br \/>\ninteraction does not become trivial in the case of a static source. In<br \/>\nfact one can solve exactly the Shwinger-like vacuum decay, showing a<br \/>\nnon-exponential decay of the survival probability, a particle<br \/>\nproduction rate that is not constant (despite the time-independent<br \/>\nHamiltonian), and a shape dependence of the results in the large<br \/>\nvolume limits.<br \/>\nThe usual assumptions over the vacuum decay, large volume limits, and<br \/>\nrecovery of the full theory, if the interaction is switched off only<br \/>\nin the asymptotically long times (past and future), are demonstrably<br \/>\nwrong in this exactly solvable case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>5 czerwca 2024 roku o godzinie 13:15 w sali 143 odb\u0119dzie si\u0119 seminarium Instytutu Fizyki, na kt\u00f3rym Dr Leonardo Tinti z Instytutu Fizyki Uniwersytetu Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach wyg\u0142osi referat pt.: \u201eScalar with a static classical source are not trivial after all\u201d.
